Call & Instructions

Authors are invited to submit original research contributions, in English, electronically in PDF format via EasyChair: Robot'2017 Submission System at Easychair.

Papers must follow the Springer AISC templateTwelve pages in the Springer AISC format are allowed for each paper, including all figures, tables and references. Please check the Author Guidelines for the Preparation of Contributions to Springer Computer Science Proceedings for more complete information.

As in previous editions accepted English written contributions will be published at Springer Series in Advances in Intelligent Systems and Computing indexed at Thomson ISI Proceedings, SCOPUS, EI-Compendex, DBLP, Google Scholar and Springerlink. According to the Springer Book Performance Record 2016, the Proceedings of Robot 2013 and Robot 2015 have already had, respectively, nearly 70,000 and 40,000 chapter downloads. Contributions in Spanish and Portuguese will be published in a volume in electronic format with ISBN. Acceptance will be based on the paper's significance, technical quality, clarity, relevance and originality.

At least two program committee members will be assigned to review each paper, and in case of doubt a third one will be included to make the decision.

Accepted papers will be scheduled for presentation. One of the authors should register at the Conference and present the paper. At most three papers can be registered by one author.

The papers in the Special Sessions will be reviewed as the regular papers.

In addition of regular papers it is possible to present industrial short papers, with only two pages, that will be included in the Electronic Preprints to be distributed in the Conference but not in the Springer Proceedings.
