This Tuesday November 27th professor Anibal Ollero receives the FAMA prize from University of Seville’s chancellor Miguel Angel Castro Arroyo due his long and successfull career in aerial robotics and automation. This trajectory includes european projects such as ARCAS FP7, H2020 AEROARMS and AEROBI and also the ERC Advanced Grant GRIFFIN project.
The FAMA prizes are granted to the university professors whom achieve important merits during their researching professional career. The University of Seville deliver 5 prizes per year and the award ceremony is celebrated in the Paraninfo Hall of the Rectorship.
Anibal Ollero is the head of the Robotics, Visions and Control Group (GRVC) and scientific assesor of FADA-CATEC. Along his career he has led projects for industrial inspection as AEROARMS, cooperative systems for construction as ARCAS, bridge inspection (AEROBI) or the development of aerial systems with flapping wings like GRIFFIN.
